Five different 10-minute segments: cardio, lower body, upper body, abs and yoga. Each one features a well-cued series of varied exercises. The easy-to-follow aerobics emphasize powerful, athletic-style moves that get your body moving in every direction. The toning segments are taught in super-effective, two-part progressions. You’ll do the sequence once, then come back again at a higher intensity (now that you know the correct form). The cardio portion is high intensity but not high impact. She uses a lot of upper body moves to get your heart rate going, and there are modifications from the background exercisers if you want to take the intensity down a notch. All you need for the DVD is a set of dumbbells and a yoga mat. (A kettlebell is optional.) You can either do all six workouts at once or pick and choose your own workout. The yoga segment is smooth flowing and very graceful. Includes a bonus kettlebell segment. Requires 3 to 10 lb. dumbbells.
